Tracheobronchial Tree Model
Download STL File
This learning supplement is designed to accompany the previously described bronchoscopy trainer. It supports recognition of bronchoscopy views and may be given to students as a compact 3D anatomy learning aid, as well as a desktop reference model.
The model used to create the bronchoscopy trainer, described earlier (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/tracheobronchial-tree-d3cbd7d5adb74ba7b54c1df151900b96), was adapted for placement on a stand and includes numbered lung segment modifications. To improve print reliability, cubes were used to represent the 19 lung segments instead of spheres, which were difficult to print in mid-air even with well-calibrated printers. The model was reduced in size by 80% to facilitate handling and printing efficiency.
Print difficulty: Moderate
Material: PLA
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Supports: Tree supports touching the build plate only
Post-processing time: 5–10 minutes
