Dr. Brian Cuthbertson, Vice Chair of Research
Brian Cuthbertson is an Attending Physician and former Chief of the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He is a Professor in the University Department of Anaesthesiology and Pain Medicine as well as the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is the Vice Chair (Research) in the University Department of Anaesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Ahtsham Niazi, Vice Chair of Education
Dr. Niazi is interested in teaching. He was the site coordinator for undergraduate medical education and a member of the undergraduate medical education committee for the last five years. During this time he was nominated for and has received multiple awards for teaching. These nominations were made by Dr. Niazi’s colleagues and students.
Dr. Keyvan Karkouti, Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs
Dr. Keyvan Karkouti is a Professor at the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, University of Toronto, holds the rank of Senior Scientist at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute, University Health Network, and is cross-appointed to the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation and the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care, University of Toronto.
