The Anesthesia Scholarly Network: Learning & Opportunities Hub
The Anesthesia Scholarly Network: Learning & Opportunity Hub is a dedicated SharePoint site designed specifically for faculty members in the field of anesthesia.
It is as a comprehensive resource hub that facilitates scholarly activities, collaboration, and information sharing. The hub also offers access to various resources to help ensure faculty have the necessary support to enhance their scholarly work, including:
- Research materials
- Educational tools
- Opportunities for professional development
How does it help researchers?
The hub is crucial for several reasons:
- Centralized Resources: It consolidates essential resources for scholarly work in one accessible location, making it easier for faculty to find relevant information and tools related to their research and educational activities.

How can faculty access this tool?
All faculty with UTORiD are Eligible to access this SharePoint site and join the MS Team's channel to receive news and updates.To access, faculty affiliated with the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine will require:
- University Credentials: Ensure you have your University of Toronto credentials (UTORid and password), as these will be required to log in to the SharePoint site.
- Access Permissions: Log on to the SharePoint site to confirm that you have been granted access to the hub. If you are unsure about your access status or need assistance, please contact us.
Accessing the MS Teams Channel
Sign in to Office 365:
- Open your web browser and go to the UofT Office 365 portal.
- Log in using your UofT credentials (usually your UTORid and password).
Open Microsoft Teams:
- Once logged in, look for the Microsoft Teams app in the Office 365 dashboard. Click the Teams icon directly or select All Apps to find it.
Navigate to the Anesthesia Scholarly Network - Learning & Opportunities Team:
- On Teams, there is a list of teams you are a member of in the left sidebar.
- If you don’t see the team right away, you can use the Search bar at the top to enter "Anesthesia Scholarly Network" to search for it.
Access the Channel:
- Select the Anesthesia Scholarly Network icon and name to expand it and view the list of channels associated with the team.
- Click on the Anesthesia Scholarly Network channel. You should now have access to the topics or projects there.
