Tariq Esmail

Dr. Tariq Esmail completed his undergraduate degree at Western University, Medical School at the National University of Ireland (Galway), and subsequently his Anesthesiology Residency training at the University of Toronto. He then completed a Fellowship in Neuroanesthesia at Toronto Western Hospital. His primary clinical interest is in Neuroanesthesiology. His academic areas of interest are in quality improvement and patient safety. To gain a deeper understanding of quality improvement science and methodologies he completed a master’s degree in Quality Improvement at the Institute for Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Dr. Esmail is currently a Staff Anesthesiologist at University Health Network and Women’s College Hospital.
