The care of Thoracic Surgery patients, particularly those with end-stage lung disease is my primary interest. This encompasses evaluation, intraoperative care and pain management of lung transplant recipients and patients undergoing pulmonary endarterectomy and lung volume reduction. As director of lung transplant anesthesia, I am dedicated to lung transplant education for fellows, and direct the Transplant series of resident seminars. As a longstanding member of the APS and TPS groups, I am also committed to exploring the intersection between transplant medicine and pain management.
