Dylan trained in anesthesia in the UK with fellowships in simulation medical education (St Mikes), pediatric anesthesia (SickKids) and pediatric cardiac anesthesia (Great Ormond Street, UK). He has a Master of Education from U of T. His academic interests are in global health, both in educational and research programs. He is currently chair of the Council of the World Federation of Anesthesiologists and has won awards for global health including the Canadian Anesthesiologists Society Humanitarian Award.
