Dr. Tamir completed her undergraduate medical degree and Anesthesiology residency at the University of Toronto. She went on to complete a clinical fellowship in Cardiovascular Anesthesia and Critical Care. Dr. Tamir is currently the clinical director of the Acute Pain Service. Additionally, she is one of the physicians in the Transitional Pain Clinic as well as in the Hyperbaric Medicine Unit. Dr. Tamir has been extensively involved with education especially at the undergraduate medical level.
