Dr Ahmed Mesbah attained his medical degree from Suez Canal University in Egypt and completed his anesthesiology training in the United Kingdom. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, UK, and was appointed as a consultant paediatric anaesthetist at Birmingham Children's Hospital prior to joining the staff of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He is fellowship-trained in both pediatric anesthesiology from Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, as well as pediatric cardiac anesthesiology from the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto.
