Dr. Gleicher`s main academic focus is the use of regional anesthesia to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs and utilization of health care resources. This includes development of outpatient nerve block catheter and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery pathway for joint reconstruction surgery. Dr. Gleicher is a leader in quality improvement and patient safety and holds an appointment at the institute of Health, Policy, & Evaluation.
