I completed my fellowship in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. In addition to a focus on the clinical applications of regional anesthesia, my fellowship research focused on the design/development of successful regional fellowship programs.

My research interests are focused around regional anesthesia teaching at the resident and fellowship level. In addition, I am interested in the use of regional anesthesia to improve post-operative and post-trauma pain and how regional anesthesia can decrease hospital stays hopefully leading to a leaner healthcare system.  Outside of clinical practice, I am interested in leadership with a specific interest in increasing the presence of anesthesia on key hospital committees.
