Dr. Kresen Nadar is a Staff Anesthesiologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Originally from South Africa, he completed his medical degree and anesthesiology residency at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where he also obtained a Master of Medicine degree and was admitted as a Fellow of the College of Anaesthesiologists of South Africa (FCA). He subsequently completed three years of fellowship training at Toronto General Hospital in cardiac anesthesia, thoracic anesthesia, and abdominal organ transplant anesthesia. Dr. Nadar is a Diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
