Dr. Farah Manji is a cardiac anesthesiologist at Southlake Regional Health Centre.  She completed her Anesthesiology residency training at The University of Western Ontario, and a clinical fellowship in Cardiovascular Anesthesia and Intensive Care at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.  She is certified by the National Board of Echocardiography in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.  Dr.  Manji completed her Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy at the Harvard School of Public Health in 2014.  There, she developed an interest in patient safety work, and she currently is responsible for engaging in projects to improve perioperative patient safety within her department.

Dr. Manji has been the Co-Lead for the Public Health Theme in the MD Program at the University of Toronto since 2017.  In this role, she is responsible for design, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational elements that constitute curricular theme in Public Health across the four years of the MD Program.
