The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine takes great pride in its strong clinical and academic foundations. Our faculty members are recognized as world leaders in many clinical programs and are renowned for discoveries in both preclinical and clinical sciences. Academic Appointments

Our department is the largest anesthesia department in Canada, with over 400 faculty members. We train a significant number of anesthesiologists that practice in Ontario, and are also a major training site for future academics.
