2024 Anesthesia Research Cluster Grant Recipients

The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine is pleased to announce the successful recipients of our inaugural 2024 Anesthesia Research Cluster Grant. This initiative was designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among clinicians, scientists, and trainees across the University of Toronto and its affiliated hospital sites.

We are pleased to congratulate the six faculty members who will lead the research clusters. Review Process

The review and scoring processes for the Anesthesia Research Clusters were designed to ensure fairness, thoroughness, and unbiased as possible. The review panel consisted of senior faculty members from the University of Toronto, all of whom are experienced in evaluating research proposals. A standardized scoring system was employed to assess each application, ensuring consistency across all reviews. The faculty reviewers brought their extensive experience and knowledge to the evaluation process, dedicating their time and effort to provide thorough assessments.
