Clyde Matava
Research Synopsis
Dr. Matava’s research interests are in the area of technological innovation of apps and software that to enhance medical education. He is currently focusing on the factors that influence knowledge translation and technologies to improve both medical education and patient outcomes. Dr. Matava is the creator of the PediPain App, a bedside decision-tool for the management of pain in children. Recently, he has also worked on the use of additive manufacturing from imaging methods and 3D modeling and printing for the management of difficult airways in pediatric patients.
