Dr. Greg Hare, Chair of the Faculty Appointments Advisory Committee at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Greg Hare as the new Chair of the Faculty Appointments Advisory Committee (FAAC) at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, effective January 1, 2025, for a three-year term. In this crucial role, Dr. Hare will advise the Dean on initial appointments at professorial ranks for full-time clinical (MD) and status-only faculty where a University-approved search has not been conducted, as well as on promotions of full-time clinical (MD) faculty from lecturer to assistant professor.

The FAAC plays a vital role in shaping our academic community by reviewing applications from three key sectors: Basic Sciences, Clinical, and Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr. Hare's appointment underscores our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in faculty recruitment and advancement.
