Fellowship Trainees 2022 - 2023
Fellowship training continues to be a popular choice among anesthesia trainees for a variety of reasons. The opportunity to receive further training in a subspecialty area at one of the university’s centers of excellence remains one of the top reasons for coming. For our fellows that come from abroad, a chance to spend one or two years in our city is an added bonus. Some fellows from the United Kingdom and Australia are able to count the Canadian fellowship year towards their training back home. Canadians who did medical training abroad are also returning to do fellowships and prepare for writing the Canadian exams while familiarizing themselves with the Canadian health care system. All of these factors make for an exciting and diverse group of enthusiastic trainees.
