Gerald O'Leary
Following anesthesia training in Ireland Dr. Gerald O’Leary came to Toronto in 1986 as a clinical/research fellow and obtained his FRCPC in 1990.
Dr. O’Leary has been a member of Active Staff in the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management at the Toronto General Hospital for the past 22 years, where he has held several positions including deputy anesthesiologist-in-chief (2001-2006) as well as vice-president and president (2003-2007) of the Medical Staff Association.
Since 2006, he has held the position of anesthesiologist-in-chief at the University Health Network / Mount Sinai Hospitals and the Kensington Eye Institute. He was appointed anesthesiologist-in-chief at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in 2010 and at Women’s College Hospital in 2011.
