Connect with TIDE: Building Inclusive Academic Communities

We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming TIDE Information Session on November 17, 2025 (1:10-2:00 pm, online) where we will share updates on the Toronto Initiative for Diversity and Excellence (TIDE) and highlight opportunities for faculty and librarian engagement in equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) work across the University of Toronto. Since 2016, TIDE has delivered over 129 evidence-informed workshops, developed high- impact unconscious bias modules, and provided confidential support to academic leaders. With new institutional funding now secured, we are entering an exciting new phase—and we want to connect with faculty members who are interested in learning more about TIDE and opportunities to contribute to this work. In this session:

Presenters: University Professor Maydianne Andrade; Professor, Teaching Stream Fiona Rawle; Professor Bojana Stefanovic
