45th Annual Shields Research Day: Call for Abstracts

Call for Abstracts

Individuals who wish to present their research at Shields Research Day 2024 are encouraged to submit abstracts (the maximum number of abstract submissions per first author is three) by Friday, March 15, 2024.

As of March 15, 2024, the department is no longer accepting abstracts.

Important Dates

The call for abstracts opened on Monday, January 29, 2024.

*NEW* The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 15, 2024.

Successful applicants will be informed by Friday, April 5, 2024.

Authors of successful submissions will be invited to present at the event on Friday, May 3, 2024.

Additional Information

Eligibility

All trainees—residents, fellows and graduate students—affiliated with the department are encouraged to submit one or multiple (up to three) abstracts
Research assistants/coordinators are also encouraged to submit their work, but their work will be considered for only the poster presentation
Faculty members are not eligible for submission as a primary author
