Dr. Angela Jerath awarded Tier 2 Canada Research Chair

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Angela Jerath of the Sunnybrook Research Institute (SRI) has been named a Canada Research Chair (CRC), one of the nation’s most prestigious research honors.

Dr. Jerath, a cardiac anesthesiologist at Sunnybrook, specializes in analyzing and evaluating postoperative care and critical care models for cardiac and complex non-cardiac surgical patients. Her research employs diverse methodologies and advanced technologies to enhance patient outcomes.

Recognized as a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Acute Care Health Technology and Practice Innovation, Dr. Jerath is at the forefront of integrating emerging health technologies and practice innovations with real-world applications.
