Drs. Frances Chung and Beverley Orser featured on World Federation of Society of Anaesthesiologists' List of Women who Lead in Anesthesia

Drs. Beverley Orser and Frances Chung were recently featured on a list of women who lead in anesthesia, created by the World Federation of Society of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA). The list acknowledged the world's most prominent 45 female innovators, pioneers and leaders in anesthesia on International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2023.

The organization also noted that women constitute 70 per cent of health workers and encouraged women to accept positions of leadership, influence, and decision-making to help to shape health services and outcomes.
