Congratulations to our PGY-5 Residents! The Anesthesia Residency Program held their annual Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the Hart House at the University of Toronto. We were delighted to have Dr. Eric Jacobsohn, Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Manitoba, and a leader in the field of Anesthesia, as the guest speaker at the ceremony. Dr. Jacobsohn provided the graduating class with a inspirational speech with words of wisdom as they embark on the next chapter of their life. Whether it be continuing their specialty training, commencing a staff position or pursuing a research project, our graduates are off to a promising start in their medical and/or academic career. We would like to thank all the family, friends, faculty members and department staff for making this day a memorable event; and a enormous thank you to Dr. Lisa Bahrey for being an exemplary mentor to our residents. We welcome our 2018 graduates to the U of T alumni community!
