Dr. Slinger is chair of the Continuing Education program at the University of Toronto, which offers a number of accredited courses and opportunities for professional development to members of the Department of Anesthesia. In addition to coordinating the PGY4 resident thoracic anesthesia seminars, Dr. Slinger has been an invited speaker at many universities and meetings internationally.

Dr. Slinger’s main research interests focus on thoracic anesthesia and one-lung ventilation, which have been addressed in some of his most recent publications. Dr. Slinger has also been the recipient of a number of awards that reflect both the quality of his research and his commitment to education.
