Research Synopsis

Daniel is interested in perioperative medicine (fluid management protocols and interventional trials), enhanced recovery after liver transplantation, thoracic anesthesia (I have completed work on interventions for hypoxia on one-lung ventilation, acute pain (especially the impact of novel regional anesthesia techniques). I am currently working on a skills development pathway for erector spinae blocks in major intra-abdominal and intra-thoracic surgery, and developing a pilot project on CPET-based prehabilitation for potential liver transplant recipients.
