UofT Science Rendezvous 2017
Science Rendezvous is a free annual all-day festival that brings science out of the lab and onto the street with the ultimate goal of improving student enrolment as well as public involvement in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (S.T.E.M.) fields. Occurring simultaneously at over 40 sites across 30 Canadian cities, this event offers visitors of all ages and backgrounds the chance to interact with world-class researchers, witness awe-inspiring demonstrations, partake in hands-on experiments and, above all, have fun while discovering science in a whole new way!
This year, to commemorate Canada’s 150th Anniversary, The University of Toronto (St. George Campus) will be integrating the S.T.E.M. fields with 150 years of Canadian ingenuity to reveal the amazing things Canadian people have achieved with the power of science. Come take a time- travelling journey through 150 years of Canadian research, innovation, and achievement in S.T.E.M.! As you navigate through the exhibits and learn about the various S.T.E.M. fields, we challenge you to discover Canada's rich scientific heritage, learning all about where we've been and where we can go!
