2nd Canadian SIH conference

We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd Canadian SIH (Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension) conference, organized by Spinal CSF leak Canada organization in affiliation with the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine of the University of Toronto.

This event will take place in person in Toronto. Saturday May 31st will feature a full day of plenary and interactive sessions, while Sunday June 1st will be a half- day focussing on interactive workshops.

A VIRTUAL option is available for the program on Saturday, May 31st. On Sunday, June 1st, virtual attendance will be available for the patient session.

Recordings of the first day's lectures and patient session will be accessible to all paid registrants for later viewing.

All participants (in-person and virtual) can engage in discussions and active learning, including roundtable discussions and Q&A sessions after each conference section.

This event will cover key aspects of SIH, including:

· Identifying clinical symptoms 

· Using optimal diagnostic imaging (MRI, DSM, CT Myelogram, PCCT) 

· Exploring treatment options (conservative, EBP, fibrin glue, embolization, surgery, meds)

· Post-treatment management strategies and chronic SIH complications

· Challenges faced by Canadian patients and current research

· Clinical pearls and pitfalls through expert discussions
