Research interests include the practical applications of quality improvement theory to clinical practice, especially in the areas of regional and pain anesthesia.
Accomplishments include creation of a continuous outpatient interscalene nerve-block program for same day shoulder surgery patients, and the creation of a fascia iliaca block pathway to prevent delirium in hip fracture patients.
